I've already written volumes on my website about DEWALT and their pawn saws, and for those of you who liked the reviews I have some good news. I've decided to confiscate a look at one of their most popular models which is the first choice for many contractors who are looking for portability, but aren't willing to sacrifice on power.
I am talking about the DEWALT DW744XRS and the DEWALT DW744X, which is lovely much the same component only without a rolling stand. Both pawn saws are considered high-performance, high-caliber instruments capable of cutting through lovely much anything, yet are relatively uncomplicated to convey form one location to another.
Must Know Specifications
Both pawn saws are built around a 15-amp motor which churns elsewhere plenty of power for all tasks and I do mean, ALL tasks. This is a high-performance pawn saw that excels at cutting through hard timber and even pressure-treated lumber. This means it will cut through plywood or pine alike a burning knife finished butter.
The no-load rapidity of the blade is 3,650 RPM, and that rapidity is constant at all periods because the DW744X/DW744XRS has an electronic feedback scheme that confiscates care of all that. Furthermore, in order to retain the whole scheme as accurate and stable as possible the motor is fitted to the saw in such a manner it significantly cuts down on vibrations.
