11. Grip the material inflexibly and food it into the blade at a reasonable speed – never force the cut. Permit the machine to come to full rapidity before creation any cut. If the motor starts to slow down and drag, you are feeding the inventory too fast.
15. Never try to pick up or push away small off cuts that are next to the blade. Because there is no kickback hazard, learn to leave these slices alone.
16. Do not overfeed or force your inventory into the blade. It can decrease blade life and cause blade breaking.
