Step 4 of 14:
Next I started to eliminate the extra slices from the bed frame. These are the leg portions which I could have cut off but I chose to eliminate instead so that I could have the most substance left over. I used a drill to eliminate the nails and my angle grinder and a chisel. Eventually I got them off.
Step 3 of 14:
To try and cut a linear line I clamped the bed frame rail to the plate steel and cut along the edge with my angle mill. The rail acts as linear edge guide for the cut off wheel. Once the cut is done I hit all the edges with a file to eliminate any sharp slices.
Step 5 of 14:
I used a scrap slice of wood to mark the distance of the legs and used my angle grinder to create the cuts.
