1. Using whichever hand, lock the blade with your palm facing out and the teeth facing away from you. Attire gloves—those teeth are sharp! Steady the blade by one foot. Place a block of lumber under the blade to guard the teeth from a hard floor.
2. Press downcast by your hand to bandage the blade into an oval.
3. Leisurely rotate your wrist so your palm faces in and the blade initiates to coil. Grip the blade definitely during this phase so it doesn’t slip in your hand.
4. Continue spinning your wrist and coiling the blade until your palm faces out.
5. Usage your free hand to detention the coiled blade.
Continuously start a contoured cut at its shallowest angle. Cutting in the opposed way—so the cut ends with the shallow angle—can effect in a ragged edge. Because the blade can turn off the streak at the last second and pop out. If the angles are shallow at together ends of a contour, start at each termination and cut to the middle.
Cut tighter‐curves, lessen blade vibration and rise blade life by truing the blade with a saw blade finishing stone. Start by eliminating the back angles, then round the back. The procedure takes around five minutes, and the welfare's last for a blade’s lifetime. You can usage the stone on scroll saw blades too.
