9. Mark Your Cut
Operating a lead pencil, mark your woodland or other material where you intend to cut it. This will allow for a precise cut and leave no room for errors.
Every band saw is unique, so you should always refer the manufacturer's guide before operation. These are some common steps for operating a bench top band saw that will ensure you safety and a precise cut.
4. Adjust Blade Tension
Always eliminate the band saw from its faculty source before you do this, as this is known to cause many injuries. To test the tightness of the blade, raise the blade guide to maximum height, and press side ward against the blade. If required, adjust the blade tension according to the manufacturer's manual.
